Good to know
Do I need a Desktop Notify account?
Yes. Sign in with an authorised portal account. Available alerts depend on your account, device and gateway access.
Will it run when I close the window?
Closing the main window hides it in the system tray. Use the tray menu's Exit option to close the application completely.
Does it start automatically with Windows?
The installer can offer an optional startup shortcut. This launches the app when your Windows user signs in, not before sign-in.
Are notifications guaranteed to appear?
No. The application requests notifications from Windows, but delivery and visibility can be affected by operating-system settings, connectivity and device state. It is not a substitute for your organisation's emergency procedures.
